CAMBRIA COMPUTER and TECHNOLOGY CLUB
2021 MEETING SCHEDULE

MARK YOUR CALENDARS

The Cambria Computer and Technology Club had hoped our technological life could resume. Alas, that has not been the outcome of the continuing pandemic. We will continue to observe “social distancing” until further notice. Pacific Premier Bank’s meeting room is not available until possibly the end of June. We'll keep you posted of any changes.

Your leadership wishes you to be safe and healthy.

Because of the disruption to our schedule, club leadership is extending your paid 2020 membership dues through the year 2021.

If you have questions or need help you would like to address, please do not hesitate to contact the Club. We will do what we can to assist online or at your home until we resume meetings.

The drop of items at the Farmers Market to be recycled is discontinued until further notice.  We are tentatively planning to resume recycling the end of June. Watch this web site for announcements about this club service.

President's Message

This year the Club is modifying its format to adjust for the technological changes we have experienced over the last several years. We have seen the emergence of smart phones, tablets and other devices that have significantly expanded the range of “computerized” devices, the way these devices communicate, and the applications (apps) that these devices use.

We also considered the convergence of similarities between operating systems by Microsoft, Apple, Google and others. The Club makes presentations in both PC and MAC formats.

The meetings will continue to focus on solving user's problems and answering questions. Here we will help each other learn to use and expand our capabilities for the wide range of devices available today. In addition the General meetings will typically feature a topic of interest with a speaker.

Club dues are only $15.00 per year. Club members are encouraged to bring a guest. Non-members may attend one meeting before joining.

One constant for this club has been the fact the everyone has a lot of fun at the meetings, and everyone, from novice to advanced user, say they always learn something.
